It's good to be home and see the family. Love me some 5/3/1 though, so I got down to business.
It's week 3 for the back squat and week 2 for the deadlift. Let me just say that things are looking up again. The rest has helped and was needed. I'll try to do a metcons after class out next week.
Weights felt great. It's probably the most comfortable I've felt at these weights. They didn't seem challenging at all. Both lifts I could have squeezed more reps out, but that's not the point.
Back squat
75% x 5 - 200lbs
85% x 3 - 225lbs
95% x 1+ 250lbs
200lbs x 5 reps
225lbs x 3 reps
255lbs x 5 reps (had to go to 255 because I don't have enough plates for 250)
Deadlift
70% x 3 reps - 205lbs
80% x 3 reps - 255lbs
90% x 3+ reps - 285lbs
205lbs x 3
255lbs x 3
285lbs x 6
