Friday, November 19th, 2010 - Goals? 2k Row

So, it's been 48 hours since Fran. I really don't feel that bad. Moderate soreness, but nothing crazy. The last time I did Fran, I remember being CRUSHED from Fran. When I say CRUSHED...I mean for like a week. I could barely walk the next day. I went from an 8+ min Fran to a 5:44 Fran.

This time, I guess you could say I matched my PR. The added strength I think is what has helped prevent the soreness. I had a hunch, so I wanted to do a test this morning.

I'm thinking my cardio isn't what it once was. I think that's the main reason I didn't PR on fran. I'm ok with that for this time. I've been pretty strength focused these days.

What are your thoughts?

On a positive note...

I found some "OLD" goals of mine, back from my Crossfit Naperville days.

6 month goals
1. 300+ for FGB
2. Muscle Up's
3. Sub 4 min Rx'd Fran


12 month goals
1. 1 BW OHS
2. 2xBW Squat
3. 2.5xBW Deadlift

My goals were probably a little ambitious at the time.  I've accomplished the FGB goal.  I'm pretty close to the Fran goal and I'm pretty close to the OHS goal.  I don't know what the hell I was thinking on the squat/deadlift goal.  That was pretty stupid and unrealistic....bwahahahahaha

Today's PR @ bodyweight of 182lbs

5 135lb deadlifts

Then, I helped a buddy move into a new house.  I'm feeling a little like Miko Salo.
